What to do in Austin this Summer

One of the things I love most about living in Austin is there is always something to do and the Summer is no exception. From swimming in Barton Springs to tubing on the river, there are so many fun outdoor activities to enjoy. Music and food festivals, concerts, and movies in the park are all popular Summertime events that take place around town. For art lovers and culture enthusiasts, visiting the Blanton Museum or taking a tour of the state Capitol are great ways to spend an afternoon. The list of things to do in Austin during the summertime is endless, making it a great place for visitors and locals alike to explore and enjoy!

Throughout the Summer months, many restaurants offer special discounts or happy hours which make eating out in Austin very affordable. It’s also not hard to find delicious food truck fare around town. The Saturday farmers’ markets are a great place to buy fresh produce and sample some local cuisine. Additionally, there are plenty of outdoor bars and patios that provide the perfect setting for enjoying a cool drink with friends on a hot summer evening.

No matter what your interests or budget may be, Austin in the Summer offers something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for an outdoor adventure, cultural attractions, or delicious food and drinks, there is no shortage of options to choose from. So come visit Austin this Summer and experience the city’s unique charm!
